Just did a quick hand wash and put some tire cleaner on. Found the gas leak on the carb, just have to get the parts to fix it.

Bad ass dude!!!! I wouldn't post pics of the vin or the door tag though, lotsa scammin' goin on these days.

To bad you don't have contacts in larger circles. i am sure that car might be able to fetch a lot more.

night and day diff after the wash. Sure would be nice to have, leave it the way it is and drive it!!

35K wow... You should have someone on here do a full detail on it, then when its done it will look like it came out of the show pimp my ride

Awesome. That car is going to make someone REALLY happy. Be careful driving it on those old Polyglasses, don't want to have a blowout or anything happen with those old tires.

I must have missed something. Did you buy this from the lady?
Did not buy it, just helping her move it, my dad and uncle are "talking" about it.

The fronts are original

Thats the plan if it does not sell.

Now that it's clean you can drop it off

Have the cash ready:sagrin:

Beautiful ride no doubt, and having so much original parts and such makes it that much more special.
Have you tried clay to remove some of the embedded rust on the side? I can't tell from the pic but it could be one of two real things:
#1. Body work underneath going bad. I doubt that's the case as you'd get ugly bubbling and such under the paint.
#2. Either rail-dust or brake dust particles (tiny metallic pieces) that were embedded into the paint. White shows contamination worse than any other color. The good news is that this may be fixable. I believe these 'Stangs were single stage enamel paint, and once clayed, you'll see a big increase in the brightness and intensity of the paint. Of course machine polishing could potentially bring the paint to a like-new condition, but is a lot more risky than claying.

Regardless, good luck with the future sell and no doubt it should fetch a pretty penny: She's a beautiful car and a fine piece of auto history. I wish I had money to buy it!

I wish I had the money I would buy this in a heart beat! If I knew what my contract was going to be like I would borrow the money from my house.
