So about 14 months ago I bought a console for my car on eBay. Sent the money after hearing from the seller, and waited........and waited.... Emailed the seller, asked where it was, no reply... Waited some more, filed a complaint on eBay & PayPal...
PayPal & eBay couldn't contact the seller so they ruled in my favor and refunded me $15.70 of the $40.70 I paid for the console + shipping leaving $25 she owed me.
I got her phone number, address, name, her fathers name, (soon to be ex, probably my fault) boyfriends cellphone number, and started calling. They all kept putting the blame on somebody else. I didn't care, it was her account, she is the one responsible for the transaction gone bad.
Well, they kept leading me on - saying they'd send the money they'd send parts they'd do something... Well, I got sick of waiting, and filed a complaint with the National White Collar Crime Center for internet fraud/transactions --- they like dealing with assholes like this. (Mind you they screwed 3 people on ebay in a row with Mustang parts, a couple hundred bucks worth) ..... Well, I decided to wait until recently. I sent her another email telling her that either I get my $25 or I will send the report to a few other agencies and pretty much make her life a living hell over $25 if thats what it took to set it right.
It's been over a year, her excuse was always that she was a single mom that didn't make enough money (even though her dad told me he'd pay me to set it straight, ha... and she lived with him anyways) --- yet I put her on a Yahoo Messenger list to find she's always on Yahoo and typically using a mobile phone. It sure is nice to see she has her priorities straight. So I send her another email - and FINALLY hit a nerve I think... Her reply goes:
  I think she figured its only $25 and most people would forget about it... Not me! She must not know, I'm a greedy fucker, and I never forget about money... :icon_mrgr
Am I the only one who would have pursued it for so long?
