I hear ya. I use an electric Black&Decker edger - cheap & works great and I don't do enough to justify the gas powered version. No, just trying to make my life easier. Lawn service...pfft, I barely have time to see scratch my ass now-a-days as it is. The last thing I need is another job to take up more of my time.

My current electric edger sucks ass. So I use my current electric trimmer that can be turned to trim and it has a sidewalk guide on it. Does a great job, but I am trying to do away with electric cords completely.![]()
If I don't find a good deal on seperate items I will likely go the route you're suggesting. I have been finding a few nice quick-chage units online. :thumbup:Al- Depending on how much edging you have, I might suggest one of those quick-change deals. I have an newer gas edger from Craftsman that works great for a lot of edging but at my most recent house I got one of those change-a-tool deals and I can whip and edge in no time.
Making Al Gore proud
