i bought it from bishops auto salvage(junk yard) as a core about 2 years ago, it looks to be fine. I have never disassembled it its just sitting in the back of my garage collecting dust....your welcome to come look at it this weekend, bring your cousin to look at it too...im in westland

don't rule out a 700r4 too. THey are good working trans's we went low 11s on one for a few years. the only reason is smoked cuz we ran it low on fluid.
