Wanted; 1979 Mustang 5.0 Fuel Sending unit

Got a buddy looking for a sending unit for his '79 V8 Pace Car. From what I gather these were a 79-80 only deal with the smaller tanks that had the sending unit mount in the front vs the top. In addition to that it appears no-one produces them.

Anyone have one, or dealt with this before?

Good luck had to go to the scrap yard and get one for my fairmont after we found that we couldnt get a repop

Ha, yea. Over the many years since I "disposed" of a shell of a 79 there has been many parts I've since realized I wish I would have kept. Thanks guys.
