The cage I have right now is pretty freaking big. My current tall, 60lb, dog could sleep/hang out in this cage with no problem.

I just bought a new (6.5 week old) American Bulldog pup and the cage is too big for him right now. This dog will grow FAST and I have no desire to get a 3rd dog any time soon, so cheap/free is the name of this game. The puppy has shit/pissed in this big cage a few times, because he has room to do so. :mad: Anyone have a small dog cage they want to get rid of CHEAP?

Thanks, but that's a bit far. I am off to Lowes in about 10 minutes to get the supplies needed to make a wall in my dog's cage that will allow me to make the inside of the cage bigger as the dog grows. Thanks again.
 
Al, didn't your cage come with the insert so you can properly crate?
 
I have an insert im not using...but im not sure it will fit your cage. It's 18x18. if that works, you can have it.
 
Thanks, but it won't work. My cage is just over 21" wide and a little over 26" tall.

Either way, I just finished the inner wall for my dog's cage. I went to Lowe's, bought a 24"x24" 1/4 plywood board, had them throw a quick 21" x 22" cut on it, I brought it home, wrapped all 4 edges in black duct tape after I sanded the edges (wouldn't want Diesel to get any splinters) drilled 2 holes on the far right and left sides, zip-tied each side to to the cage, and it actually came out quite nice and clean looking.

Thanks to everyone who offered up other options. :thumbup:

Naw, he's cool...minus all the shitting/pissing is his cage. I hope this "mod" puts an end to that.
