vortech supercharge Volute

I need a straight exit clockwise volute for an s-trim vortech. if anyone has one from a bad blower or whatever let me know.

A curved discharge will work too, ill just modify it.

Not for sure but I think the tolerances may be different for each volute/impeller setup. you may have issues with rubbing if the volute is a little off..I was going to do a intercooler on mine and vortech said I would have to ship my head unit to them so they could swap the curved for the straight volute for this reason.. you may be better off trading complete head units with someone for what you need...good luck!!

thanks for the heads-up but I spoke with vortech and they said it wouldnt be a problem. I also have a few friends that have done the same. of course ill check tolerances before I go and slap the blower on the car.

I am going to do an air-air setup instead of the air-water setup I have now.

what H/E are you going to use?
I was going to do this last year but the volute deal was what changed my mind..
vortech wanted $300 for the swap..
I am using the aftercooler now and have spent way too much energy trying to get my intake temps below 135*
bigger pump, bigger H/E ect...
please post up some progress pics when you get started,
you may send me in a new direction..

well, im using 2 setrab heat exchangers. one before and one after the aftercooler. also using a lightning pump. I see about 135* temps all the time, traffic, boost, high RPMs, etc. I want to get the 90* temps that front mount people are seeing so im making the switch.

if they want $300 thats not too bad. Im going to fab up all of my piping and stuff so the big purchase is the front mount.
