Is the s-trim head unit on a 95 the same as the 86-93 units?
I looked around vortech for the pn# but no luck..

The main differences between most of the vortechs are case size (normal vs mondo), rotation (CCW or CW), and discharge angle (90 vs Straight)..

So yeah, they're the same.

Ok here is the deal, I am possibly going to trade a v1 for a v-2 sq...
I sent the guy pics of mine, the impeller is flawless to the eye,
He just sent me pics of his, what do you think?

Maybe try to zoom in with Photoshop, It looks a little worn..
the guy claimed to have about 1k on it... I actually have 1k on mine..

V2's have a higher step-up ratio and are quiet. I moved from a V1 to V2 because I hated pulling next to anyone and them always wanting to race, or just look over with a WTF look on their face.

Very happy with the change.

looks like they either had a very heavily oiled (and dirty) filter or a high speed seal leak causing that black oily-dirt around the impeller. otherwise, the impeller looks decent.
