I agree with ya, I just assumed he had a good deal in mind on a used kit, since he's asking about two old ass blowers. The F series is way ahead of the D series prochargers.



I agree that you can get those small blower to perform quiet well but you really have to work them very very hard. This sets them up for fialure. I would rather go with the f1 over the d1. It can easily make 9sec power and leaves enough capacity to go faster down the road. Also it iwll last longer then a tottaly cranked S-trim.

Nice part is that the f1 vs the d1 is not a huge price increase during kit purchase time.
 
If your set on a supercharger I'd go with the F1 for sure but superchargers are hard on the crank nose when you have to let off the gas fast. Turbo is the way to go. The turbo is a bit harder to install packaging wise but once done will make more power and is easier to upgrade to a bigger turbo down the road. Just my .02 it'll be a fun ride either way!
