Visited North Carolina Over the Weekend

To run the Tail of the Dragon again. I love making this trip. Really the only downside is how temper mental the shower are in the motel. Here are a few photos from the weekend. I do have video footage I'm just too lazy to edit it right now.

Maggie Valley, Deals Gap, and Mount Mitchell. I love it down there. Next fall can't get here soon enough. Of course that means another Dream Cruise will happen first. :) I need to win the lottery so I can do nothing but cool car stuff all the time.
 
north carolina, and the virginias are beautiful states. i remember going down to myrtle beach for mustang week this year, we drove straight thru all those states at night and didn't get to see really anything, but on the way back it was day time until we hit ohio and man the mountains, forests, etc etc are just amazing. looking back I really wish I would have went to the tail of the dragon just atleast see what it was about. I regret that now.

I was down in bat cave, NC over the weekend which is semi close to the dragon and the fall colors were beautiful.
 
Oh man I loved driving that road. No problems getting that boat to steer around those curves? :firedevil

Looks like you've still been keeping her clean (not a surprise there!) - drive safe!

We may have passed you. One of the roads we were on lead to Bat Cave.

I'm ready to go back. Have learned a few things since I've been back in St. Louis. Some boats handled better than others. :) Been trying to keep it clean. Ankle surgery has hampered that slightly.
