Vintage Daisy BB Gun (New never been fired)

Vintage Daisy Monte Carlo model 98 BB Gun I was told it by the previous owner it has never been fired. It is in very good condition. If my research is right it was Mfg. 1974 only. It comes with the original box. The box has some wear. There is no paperwork in the box.

That's bad ass. Hard to find those with a real wooden stock these days. All of the new stock units have plastic stocks. Being that it's 40 years old, it would probably need to be lubed prior to firing. Those seals dry out over time.

BTW I have the same one (it was my older brothers). Thing still fires like it did 30 years ago.

Another fun fact about Daisy. They lobbied the state of Michigan to classify pellet (not BB) rifles as firearms in the 60's so they could drive away competition from other manufacturers selling their products in the state. This was finally repealed last year and now pellet rifles that fire projectiles by means of compressed air are no longer classified as firearms.
