very bad weather at the classic this year!!!

Yeah shitty weekend for sure, only got two passes here. I had the car all ready for the wheelie contest but it got canceled.

almost put the car on the bumper the first pass on motor, didnt get to spray it, but I was impressed with the times. It was well worth the thrash to get it down there.
 
Me and my buddy went down friday and stayed the weekend, weather sucked until 5 pm sat afternoon rain moved out , but it was cold as hell...

i drove by your pit like ten times your car was there but you were nowhere to be found. i was pitted right next to the quarter mile marker on the budweiser side.... i seen one of your passes. car looks good with that radial on it.:icon_mrgr

If i can get the video on my computer I will put it up for you. It ran good, I short shifted the hell out of it, shifted it at 6600 and it should be shifted at 8100-8300. It went 10.56 with a 1.407 sixty foot with the back tires. It shocked the shit out of me when i let the brake go. I didnt think it was going to stand up like that. I'll never go back to a slick, radials are the shit. :)

I drove by your pits like 100 times, never seen the car or you. I wasnt at my pits ever, if I wasnt racing I was watching racing or at the hotel in the pool :). I love those radials, I think they work better then a slick. The car still has a shit load left it in, I didnt get the motor into the car until wednesday morning, when it went a 56 i didnt even know where the timing was, just power timed it and loaded it up. It should go a 20-30 on motor and maybe dip into the 8's on spray if I can keep the front end down. It's too bad I had to steal the s-10 motor to make the classic. Now just think what it will do with the sb2 motor.

8.55 first pass
8.53 second pass 60ft 1.23 on back tire both passes on the plate only...

Thats cool. THe only thinkg i dont like about them is when I chattered the tires a few times on mine it made BAAAADDDD noises, and Im sure it took a toll on some of the drivetrain parts.

Yeah it tire shook bad the first time I used them, I stepped up the tire pressure a 1/2 pound and they work great now. What tire pressure did you run yours at?

I wanted to see it with the new hood and tires, maybe I'll stop by one of these days and check it out.

anytime. i bought an ed quay wing for it but now im debating if i like it or not..........
