Wanted to see if anyone would be interested I have a Verizon Dare that i have been using for about 5 months now and that i love, but i just came up for my new upgrade and there is a new phone that i want. so what i can do is under my insurance policy i can get a new Dare.

I would be asking $200 for it i have all the chargers that you would need and i have 2 different cases, a clear silicone one, and a silver plastic one. let me know if you would be interested.

Thanks

Jeff

Probably want to consider not posting the part where you are planning to commit insurance fraud.

BTW, if you are looking to get a new Verizon phone, My Mobile Store does trade-ins on used phones.

well its not insurance fraud, under my contract im allowed new phones under warranty so i would just get a new one and then sell it after i get it, that's not fraud. that is just me getting a new phone and then deciding to sell it.

So what your saying is you just tell them " I want a new phone" and they send you one? Thats pretty sweet, who is the insurance thru on that I need get me that insurance. I wunder do they insure cars to?

I've had Verizon for the last 4 years...they won't just let you swap the phone for a new one, warranty or not. The phone has to have a problem, hence the term warranty. They make you then go to a service store, and make sure if you do have a problem with the phone, that it isn't water damage.

If the tech can't fix it, and it isn't water damage, then you have to send the phone to Verizon, and they will either send you a new phone, or a refurbished phone claiming it's new, and putting it in a new box and seal.

I've done it with 50 phones, and am dealing with a phone issue now. I bitch and complain, and it doesn't matter who you talk to...those are the guidelines with them.

It's not insurance fraud, unless you are claiming it under your insurance, and then it isn't free...it's 50 bucks. Warranty is a bit different, but it's still not that easy to do unless you "make up" a problem with the phone....just a little lie is all! :D

(I wouldn't list that on here either though...)

i have done this with numerous phones because i use to have a touch screen phone before this and when it would get scratched all i would do is go in and tell them that my phone has been freezing up lately and that every now and then it will randomly shut off. it has worked every time, try it if you dont believe me :) i guess you could get a dick that would give you a hard time but most of the workers dont give a shit and they would just say "o your software must be bad" and next thing you know i have a new phone :)

well either way..im pretty sure you can pick up a new dare for 180 new from a verizon store anyways. My brother just did this.

if your contract is up and your in your upgrade time frame they are 189 (pending store) but if your are not they are still like 300 something

hmm..i dunno, could be. His contract wasnt up..and he swapped from my parents acct to his own..before that contract was up..and walked out paying less then $200 with a new phone.

IC ya not sure but i was there yesterday and looked at the price and i know the upgrade price was just under 200 but 99% sure the new cost is still far above it because when i first got it i was out of upgrade and i paid about 450 with a 100 rebate (i didn't pay this the d*bag that pushed me in a pool did:))
