Venison and freezer burned meat

As some of you know I raw feed my dog and cats.

If you hunt or know a hunter who is throwing away last years venison to make room for this years or has a surplus please let me know. I am willing to pick it up. I am in serious need of venison and this is the only time of year I can get it. The animals do not care if it is old, freezer burned or fresh. I will take ground or any cut.

We also will take any freezer burned meat or fish that is going to be thrown out. As long as it is not breaded or seasoned I can feed it to the zoo.

The zoo and I appreciate it.
 
Please donate.......we dont want Shellys Zoo to turn on her and eat her for their Christmas meal.....thanks in advance

I went through my freezer upstairs and found a couple things. One I don't know if you would want. It is a pot roast that has been lost in freezer land. The sell by day is feb 19th 2010 lol. It's been frozen so long it's almost white. Ill clean out my other freezer today.
 
so when they pass out their animals eat them. LOL

so as long as it is frozen you want it?? I am going to clean my fathers freezer and if it has stuff I will PM you.

Yep...thats fine. Ive fed stuff that old to them. Let me know what else you find.

I started it for the dog due to his allergies. Then I started the cats because I was already feeding it to the dog and cats are true carnivores. It is much healthier for the animals than kibble is. As long as you know what you are doing and feed it correctly. There are many benefits to raw feeding.

Wow I actually found quite a bit. It's amazing what gets forgotten in the basement freezer. I work all week but my mother in law will be here if you want to stop off and get it. I'm at Martin and Gratiot. Pm me if you want the address.
 
I have about 4 or 5 pounds of venision that you are welcome to. I am located in Brighton/Ann Arbor though, I don't know if it would be worth it to you to come this far. It's yours if you want it
 
Thanks for posting the craigslist stuff...that stuff goes fast...always gone by the time I get ahold of anyone.

So....still on the hunt (pun intended) Picking up regular meat rom Ricefed...can always use more and definitely need more venison to make it to next year.
 
We will try to go through our freezers before the party tonight for you Shelly. I know we have some freezer burned meat in there.
 
So what happens if they get the munchies in the middle of the night ??? Do you have to keep your bedroom door locked up tight at night ??
