van engine removal

Has anyone ever removed a 350 from a full size late 80's early 90's van before? I've done a few vans, and always from the front, but these vans look like removing the passenger seat and taking it out the side would be MUCH easier. :dontknow: The owner of the van claimed he had to lift the body off the frame a little to get the motor out the front. I'm not doing that so I figured I'd ask and see if anyone had any input, thanks.

Comes out the front. All the grill and radiator structure unbolt. The cherry picker has to be mounted tight to the intake for it to lift out and clear the bottom of the dash, so take the carb/TB off. You'll want to remove the seats to make it easier to work around

That's what I was thinking. But I looked at side engine removal as well. There's so much room on the passenger side of the van its silly. Thanks.
