Val & Leo

ive got a roll of the white tape they put on cars from the dealerships, you should look into getting some of that

Where do i get it? That would work good..

A lot of members on LS1Tech are using the Fluid Film product. Wiping it on before races and then wipe it off after. It's kind of like a thicker WD40, it is oily so the rubber doesn't stick and wipes right off. I believe they are giving out free sample cans at the moment. Might be worth a try.

Dirtbike/quad guys cover their rigs in Pledge(I think that's it), when they are done. The mud just rinses off.

Yep, pledge will probably work too. Not sure how it is on clear coat though. I know you can use WD40 on the fenders as well. I have rubber on the inside most lip right behind the tire that will NOT come off on mine. Next year I will probably tape it or use some of that stuff.

It looks like complete shit when the light hits it. At least on dark colors, that's all ti does. Ive used it while detailing cars with the 3M clear bras.

fluid film products work good. a friend of my bosses distributes it and always drops some off for us at the shop. like above mentioned, it's like WD-40 but much thicker.

The best thing i've found for getting rubber off of cars is the power washer i have at work, it has hot water running to it so it seems to strip the rubber off of cars pretty easily.

ill go home and get the exact part number off the roll for ya. It works really good. I wrapped my front end when I drove to Florida, got down there and peeled it right off, i saved myself so many bugs, dirt and rock chips

Thats how i see it when i tape it before i go to the track, you have no idea how many good towels i waste getting the shit off.
