shouldn't need to pull the intake. bolt to the heads.
I have a engine hanger but I have never tried it on an F-body

ive seen it done from the valley cover. Thats where thunderacings motor plate that they sell for the cherry picker goes. It seems like thatd be the best place to keep the motor from rocking around or anything.

No pulling of the motor. You gonna stop by and give me a hand installing? Im sure you know how to install these bitches. Then again..you prob have pulled the motor...im doing this with the motor in the car still lol.

Thats whats so nice about having a motor plate when doing one, you dont have to suspend the engine.... They are very easy to do you'll be surprised... The hardest part is the brake line.lol

im yet to decide how to support the motor. I'll have to see how much room i have under the car with a cherry picker hooked up. If i can squeak in and tighten up the k-member..i'll do it that way. This also requires me to pull the intake and such off.

I agree with 1badair id put something under the oil pan to hold the engine up.

i used a cherry picker to change mine. made a nice little shelf for it to lay on when taking off and putting on. didnt really get in the way at all..

Reiko - do you have a spring compressor at the store? ive heard the little rental ones dont work to well on the f150's springs.
