Typhoon Barn Find-Royal Blue!

Stumbled across this on Ebay (you can look it up). My kind of barn find! Wow! Read the description. I've always loved these vehicles and the Syclone as well. Very cool find!

Also for all you Sy/Ty guys.... there is a red one for sale in Commerce. I've seen it for sale before. Any one familiar? How are higher milage copies? Am I looking at trouble?

Need to know more details on it. Mine has been in my family since 04 and hasn't given me any trouble BUT it doesn't get abused or driven too much. I haven't done anything to it aside from routine maintenance. It is slightly modded with bigger turbo, air to air intercooler, FAST ecu. I don't think they are as fragile as people make them out to be.

Agreed, but I do think it will be worth north of 20k it to the right person due to the miles since its one of the more desirable and rarer colors

Thanks for the info. Didn't know you had one. They definitely have their fan base. I'm a fan, just never had onehints honk that blue one is absolutely collectible. I'd freak over a teal or raspberry one though. Talk about rare.
 
I think raspberry is the most rare. Ken (moneypit ) could probably tell you more about these trucks than me. Either blue (aspen or royal) is more rare than teal. I had a teal years ago and theres also a guy with one that lives a couple miles from me. I didn't care for the teal much.
 
Did some digging and the "barn find" at the top is no so cherry. It's got some unknowns. I guess most old cars do. :(
 
There's a teal one in Dearborn heights been there for years,I got a buddy with a black one that needs work body and motor he might sell
