type of trans fluid to use with a liberty proshifted t5

I am sure Paul will recomend GM syncromesh fluid. However better safe then sorry I would call them.
 
synchromesh is what i heard from the guy i bought it from, but it just didnt sound right to me. for whatever reason, i never even thought to call liberty themselves.
i just called there and paul did say to use that.

ive used synchromesh in a liberty before as well as my 3550 and switched to royal purple Max ATF and the shifts were much smoother in both. FYI
 
Definately ask Paul what he recommends for your setup. I run 20w50 motor oil in my face-plated TKO600 and it seems to really like it. I ran synchomesh last year, but as Paul suggested, the 20w50 is cheaper, and now I have one less fluid to take to the track with me.
