Twin-turbo BBC GTO crash at Orlando

Wow.. might wanna put a REAL gaurd rail in, not one that is all flimsey... that could have been much worse.

PHEW! My heart started back up when he got out of the car. Glad to see he's ok.
Guy is actually a douchbag in my opinion (went back and forth with him and his nut-swingers on lsall.com when he tried to stick up for another douchbag lol) but I still hated to see him have to go through that kinda shit...glad he's okay and really sucks about the car.

Almost got a piece of the spectators...there's always a few huge wrecks and wheelstands gone wrong at the Orlando events...track doesn't seem to be up to par with the normal tracks that cars like these run at...but the event is super successful to say the least.

Orlando is a death trap. Too many wrecks there that have taken great folks from us in the industry as well as enthusiasts.

Glad Ed was alright, thats one hell of a ride there. Somebodys gonna have a bad headache.

That was crazy, glad the guy is OK. I didn't hear much "pedaling" going on, looked like it happened pretty fast.

I never knew a guardrail could become such an Inefective barrier but turn into such an effective ramping mechanism. Wow. Good to see the driver made it out ok though.

On a serious note: Thank god the guys alright, thats a HELL of a wreck!

On the humor side of things: After watching it a couple times (the asshole I am) - it really needs the "Dukes of Hazzard" horn when it takes off airborn.

That's why Milan went to the cement barriers. They do a better job of containing the car.

Actually, IHRA required them to do this (amonst other things) so they could get the national event, otherwise the steel/wood guardrail would still probably be there.

WOW! That was scary. That thing just launched right over that rail. SO this is Nick Agostino's crew then?
The other Agostino guy, Wade Stevens, is the head guy at Autoworx. Suprisingly, most of their customer base is the same canadians that they fucked over when they were 'agostino racing engines.' lol talk about loyalty to the wrong people!

I was pretty good friends with a couple A.R.E guys back in the day, and that saga was waaaay crazier than they let on. But not nearly as crazy as it got when Nick let Wade take the shop back over. Nick doesn't own the shop anymore and their new place is pretty nice, but fuckin nuts they let the source of most of their issues back.

Wade built my "449rwhp" h/c Z06 that ended up doing 412 later :pow: They hooked me up on my 422 to compensate after he got the boot, and that made 10 more horse than they originally told me on another dyno so I was pretty happy, even though it took forever.
