TV to computer

I want to hook a puter to a tv. The video card is an older geforce fx 5200. It has an S-video out. My TV has an S-video in. I connect the two devices with an s-video cable and I've got nothing. I went thru the settings and set the tv up as a second monitor. Nothing. I downloaded the latest drivers for the card.

Is there anything else i can do to get this to work?

Are you trying to use both ? Or just use the TV?

I was using both to try and get the tv set up. I don't need both on at the same time. I booted up with the monitor not hooked up and got nothing.

Change the Input on your tv

Its on s-video2 (where it was plugged in). I'm not a puter nerd but I do know my way around them.

lower the resolution on the computer.
