I'm pretty sure there is nothing out there worth messing with for free. All of the decent stuff you have to pay for and is pretty expensive. In my humble opinion, you are better off just taking it somewhere for a tune, because whatever they charge you will be significantly cheaper than what the good software and hardware cost.
 
No kidding. In Chevy land where I live there are several quality tuning programs for nuthin'. What's a decent one to purchase, then?

It's a Mach 1.
