tuning question....I think.....

Car - 1976 Corvette with a mildly built 355.

Problem - When my cousin's 'vette is in park the car idles at about 1400-1500rpm. When he puts it in any gear the idle drops down to about 500-600rpm. As bad ass as the engine sounds, I think that it really shoudn't drop this much. Especially since most cars drop like 50-100rpm when put in gear. This engine was JUST built so we haven't done much tuning.

Solution - ???

I knew it needed a TQ swap but I didn't think it would effect it that much!

Didn't have the $$$. We didn't think it was going to be this bad.

He has the stock rally wheels which look great on the car but for some reason he thinks those look good. I think he smokes a bit to much reefer! :roll:
