trunk prop?

i need something to prop the trunk open on a mustang coupe

these are s few i found through google. i am not sure if the gas charged struts will hold the trunk and a wing up. havent decided if i want to run a wing yet......

i couldnt find a scissor style. aluminum, large holes in it, holds the trunk up by folding backwards on its self, then pull forward to close. not a very good description
 
Hey Anthony, why not use the existing torsion system? If you can't or dont want to, use the factory convertible spring set up.
 
on "sandstorm" i drilled a hole throgh the right side hinge with the deck lid open, into the wheel well support and put a bolt thru it, worked great! maybe fogged10 can post a picture of it, cost was free!

due to improperly made....."rear seat upolstery"if you read "my pile is a project again" thread you will understand that

the strut rods are no longer viable. i have 2 different solutions on the way
