Truck rental?

I dont post here to often, but was wondering if maybe someone could help out. I need to tow my Lightning to an out of state event in a week, but I no longer have a tow vehicle. Does anyone know of a dealer, rental agency, etc that would rent something like an F150, etc with a class IV trailer hitch that would allow towing? I have a trailer lined up already. Thanks!

Can't you rent vans from Uhaul? Like an E250 or something?

U-Haul told me that I would have to rent a big box truck to pull the weight. But they wont rent it since Im not using their trailer and they dont have a trailer big enough for a truck. Enterprise was a no-go, same for the about 10 ford dealres I called.

I know Home Depot rents trucks. Because they're usually short-term rentals I'm not sure how it would work out as far as renting for a day or a few days. It's worth a shot though. They have full size trucks.

Check with Budget, and when you tell them that you're going to be towing a vehicle tell them its a car, not a truck. Your truck will fit on their 4 wheel auto transporter.

Most places want to rent you the box truck for their trailer, last time I needed one we just rented the box truck and drove the car inside it. easiest way to do it and the movers insurance will cover the car
