okay so i went on a lil cruise tonight locked in with a couple street races had some fun whatever, well as i turned onto my street
car filled up with smoke, smoke was coming from center council everything metal thats in that bitch was glowing red, well after fire department left
i tried to start the car and there is no juice at all!

when i had turned the car off the check engine oil light came on for some reason and oil pressure was really low! can anyone help me figure out what the problem is so i can go on with my build lol

possibly torched your rear main seal? do you know what the oil level was before you left? does it look like there is burnt oil on the bellhousing or anywhere on the firewall? hows the coolant level? maybe spinning the engine at a super high rpm for a while caused the alternator to overcharge the battery and caused an electric fire. but that is assuming the oil was that low to begin with.

well after the motor warms up gets around 150 degrees or so the oil pressure drops a little bit, when the car filled up with smoke and i looked at the oil pressure gauge and it was really low so i shut car off but before i did it was flashin check engine oil, after fire department was all done they wanted me to start it and see if they could see what happened and there was no power at all! ive gotta check fuses today but if the fuses didnt blow then you think its a batter issue or do you think the ecm is fried? if the ecm is fried im gonna just switch over to carb, as i was goiin to do in the near future anyways.. ill look for oil and let you know what my finds are and the engine was at high rpms for very long it was jus street light to street light kinda thing only real high rpms was like 5 or 6k it hit that in the burnout and the launch that was it

Check the starter wires. The positive might have came loose and shorted itself out on the block.

alright cool thanks i jus put another battery in it and got power to everything but as soon as i went to start it everything shut down again

Is this a automatic trans vehicle? Shifter in the center council?
Make sure you have a ground strap between the engine and frame.
If you do not have one, the voltage will seek a ground path....not uncommon for it to travel through the shifter cable.

yeah not really sure whats goin on car was due for its tear down anyways, so motor trans all the efi junk its all coming out everything is forsale except for the block lol
i need to find a msd box for the car its bein swapped to carb
