Trigger's new toy (Rolling Shots Inside)

Today, TJ, Tyler, and myself rolled up to Westland to pick up Tylers new play toy, a 2g DSM. I'll leave him to the details and specs on the car, but I like it. On the way home, I decided to give a last minute first try at some rolling shots down the Eway, I don't think they turned out too bad for first timers.

7 bolt block 6 bolt head, auto, stalled, upgraded parts for the trans. Just swapped the big16g for an evoIII 16g. Next step is to switch to a COP setup and mess with the fuel system a bit. Using DSMlink to tune with.

Sleeper, thanks! The car's exterior and interior are goregous. Should make a great DD for the fiance.

I bet this car will click off some mid 11s when it's all said and done. :whipped:
Start saving for another auto trans now. The DSM autos are weaker then the manuals unfortunately. Looks very clean though. Havent seen a nice straight Talon in a while. Friend just grabbed one while down at TX2K10 and drove it back, We took it out the other night and I dont remember them being sooo small. Good bang for the buck cars though

The trans should live for awhile..it has a translab shift kit, alto end clutch kit and a B&M trans cooler. Protorque did the converter.

I'm Just kidding, crank walk was mainly a manual trans thing due to higher pressure plate loads on the thrust bearing in the engine. Since you have an auto you should be good.

Clean car though. I probably still have some crap laying around from when I had my DSM. PM me if you need anything in particular, I'll look around.

7bolt crank walk isn't very common with auto trans cars....and lets just say that if it would happen, I would 6 bolt swap it and be done.

MygreenZ beat me to it about the auto/5spd crankwalk...

Also, thanks! It's very clean. A few ..issues.. to take care of under hood and she will be a blast to drive.

Sort of. I've been putting money in the bank along the way as well. With this car it should be 11sec capable, the fiance can drive it, and we can actually hit up some of the local hangouts. The firebird was just getting to the point of eating up way too much of my income.
