Is there any tricks to have done to my 289 block to make performance alot better. Gonna have my first ford motor built was just wondering what to have done. The shop isn't a big ford motor builder they built my sbc and did a good job so if anybody can help I would appreciate the advice. So any tricks of the trade. Building a 347 stroker 3.400 stroke 5.400 rod thanks in advance. Have a merry christmas and happy New Year

Yes he does know all about 302's. I have heard what he gets to do a motor and I just can't do it but he is the one for the job. Imay call him. I was just wondering If anybody had any tricks or advice for me on ford motors.

If your not gunna put it together yourself, I'm not sure what all your asking for. The machine shop if reutable should know enough to make it run decent.

If your looking for a performer best advice would be to take it to somone who knows sbf...

They are all air-pumps. It should not matter who you take it to with respect to it being a ford, chevy, mopar, etc.. If they know what they are doing, you'll have exactly what you ask for in the end.

FWIW, a "MOPAR engine builder" designed the cam that is in my 347 ;)
