trans temp gauge wont go past 100

Ive got power and ground for sure, but i cant get the gauge to register anything. how can i confirm that the gauge and/or sending unit is working correctly? the sending unit is installed in between two rubber hoses in a t manifold right next to the radiator.

Sounds like your trans cooler is doing a good job

and you said the temp probe is mounted between 2 rubber hoses?

the outside of the sender needs to be grounded in that case


if you read the instructions on sender mounting, it says the sender grounds through the threads
