Trans Siberian Ochestra

I wanted to but leaving for Baltimore Thursday and couldn't justify spending the cash right before leaving for a trip.

I hear its one of the BEST ochestras to go see

I'm pumped to see them. The gf went and saw them in December and all she talked about for like a week after was how they were having a tour of non christmas stuff and how much she wanted to go see it, so I bought her tickets for her birthday, I am just the lucky guy that she's bringing with her. :lol:
 
i still have a hard time understanding what it's all about. the more i hear "you have to see it to understand it," the less i want to even give it a try. i don't think it's my type of thing. :lol:

These weren't too bad and it's at a great venue (Detroit Opera House). I think tickets started at $50 each. I wanted to take her to see Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein but those tickets came out to like $95 each for crappy seats.:jawdrop2:
 
My wife always wanted to see them, so I took her 2 years ago to their Christmas show at the Palace. What a fucking waste of time and money. We left half way through because we absolutely couldnt stand it anymore. Would have left after the first 30 minutes, but kept thinking it would get better, but it never did. That one song you recognize from the x-mas commercials, is about the only cool thing about the show. WAY to loud and WAY to many lasers, it was fucking annoying.
 
The show was nothing short of amazing. It was very rock operaish but it was very well written and composed. Lots of respect for these guys, their talent is jaw dropping.
 
Never heard of them until Spike on Channel 955 talked about them on the radio around Christmas. I don't care for Spike at all, but I'll take his word for it. Mojo played some of it to piss him off and it was absolutely fucking horrible.
