Trans mission solenoid locator?

The fault reads out "shift solenoid A performance or stuck off" for P0751.
Having a hard time putting the part numbers to designation within the trans. Does anyone have a better exploded view with part number cross referencing to solenoid location?

Looking online some mentioned A & B solenoids being the same for #'s 7897 & 7593. Looking at the illustration here doesnt seem to indicate that. Are they different solenoids in regards to part numbers?

supposedly there's a handful of solenoids used per location & are designated by what is installed from the assembly line. Weird location for where they are actually located at, but being awd, ya gotta make room for other parts!

Was worth a shot, but it;s looking like it'll need more invasive trans work or possibly replace.

Anyone know what a reman or new 6f35 for a 2013 fusion titanium costs for just the trans?

no clue, the ones I work with are stupid high(prototype), but if I see the service guy I'll ask

you might want to pull the main control off and make sure the valves are not sticking, that code sounds like that may be the issue

Other than the code, What's the trans doing? any issue with that solenoid operation should give you no drive engagement

I have a couple engineers willing to give me ideas

If it's deeper, I can walk you through a rebuild if you're interested, or I can go through it if you pull it

Just heard back from the engineers, this is a "functional" failure, so either a mechanically sticking solenoid, valve, or failed clutch.

PM sent
