Trying to install my c4 back behind my 351w in my '82. Onnce I get a couple bolts tight I can't turn the motor over w/ a socket-it won' turn at all. Only thing I can think of is converter isn't fully seated. Just had some work done on the trans and was having the ssame problem. Trans came fro ma 1980 stang w/ a 289. Seems to bolt up/line up fine, but once tightened down-that's it. I swear i'm gonna burn this damn car to the ground if I can't get this fixed. Never had so much problems putting a c4 back in.

Does the verter click 3 times when installing? Converter bolts hitting on anything?

I can spin it with the bolts loose. Converter bolts/studs don't look to be hitting anything. I'm going to check the converter and make sure it clicked three times. Ughh Anyone want some beer to help? Damn close to paying someone to put it in!

Does the verter spin on the trans when on the ground? And I would try to spin it while it is up there before you put the studs/bolts through the verter and fp.

I could give ya hand 810-824-1495 LMK

Yeah converter spun on the trans before I put it in. Maybe it slipped off. I'll probably call ya tomorrow or Thursday.
