Assuming you have the correct drop hitch and the trailer is set level when loaded? Most guys will add steel rollers or small sheets of nylon like wear pads on the rear edge. The right approach carriers ( tow truck with a hinging bed) have nylon rollers on the back edge to allow the deck to roll, might be able to fit the parts onto your trailer.
I make sure it sits level when loaded. Or close to (little more weight on the tongue side).
My parents driveway has a decent incline to it. I need to haul a car for them, so I want to be prepared.
