Trailblazer SS...

How much do they cost?? I really like them, and I've briefly considered selling my 03 gt for one...Are they any fun to own?? What do you guys pay a month for them?? I know they run 14's stock, but is there a big after market for them??

The market is the same as the LS1/2/6 market. I have no idea what people are paying for them, but I'm seeing more and more of them. AWD, 400 HP. I know it's over $30K for one.

my friend has a 2wd Trailblazer SS, i think he put like 1 or 2K down on a 2 year lease with like 20k miles and his payments are $300 or less a month

i would take a 2wd TB SS over an AWD one hands down...

i have one. mid 300 /month. not a huge aftermarket yet but its well on its way. drives great love it

I kwow what ya mean I have a 11second car and I would trade it for one in a heartbeat. absolutely sweetass truck/car whatever.

Get a SRT-8... 13.0s in the 1/4 and they love 125 shot of nitrous to give you 11's... :icon_bigg

36000 and change for awd and cloth with nothing down around 430 a month on a 27/mo lease, that was up until the 31 of oct. the deals have changed now.

msrp on the one in the showroom in A2 was 40k. awd, plus leather sunroof, and I dont know what else.

I picked up a fully loaded one sticker was 41,xxx. With $3,500 down it's $390 a month including taxes. 27 month lease 27k miles.

Pros - fun to drive, handles great for an SUV, and I like the looks

Cons- It's not really that fast stock, drives like a dog in hot weather, sucks gas pretty quick

Bottom line it's not a replacement for a fast vehicle but it is fun to drive as a daily driver.

I was at milan not to long ago and seen one with the supercharger on there, I think he was going 13.6 on like 4-6 pounds of boost? I forget t he MPH but I def love the truck. The SRT-8s are nice but the extra 20-15grand is ALOT

I've had mine for just about a year now and still really enjoy driving it. It's the first GM product I've bought and have been very happy. Mine went 13.80's in cool weather with a tune and low 14's in the heat of the summer, so they're pretty fast considering it weighs loaded like 4,800lbs.

We even take it on vacation and tow our pop-up camper...tows great. Normal driving with jumping on it occasionally it will get just over 15mpg (my wifes V6 Explorer get less that that).

As far as aftermarket, you can get the usual stuff, exhaust, tune, cold air intake, heads, cam etc. There was a guy at Milan running low 12's/ high 11's with his.

Hope all this helps!

The SRT-8's are in the high 30/low 40 range, depending on how you configure it. I was looking at the Grand Cherokee SRT8 not too long ago.

GMS on mine was $300/month 27 month lease with 15,000 per year. No money down (except first payment). It is 2WD cloth interior with the only options being sunroof and stereo. Fun truck, sucks on gas, though. I went up north in July and my gasoline bill for the month was about $440 (@3.50 for premium).

i pay 247 a month for my cloth 2wd it's the wifes car, but i still have my fun w/ it, there is alot of aftermarket, they have superchargers, heads, cam, tq convertors, headers, exchaust, tuning, suspension stuff, it'll just be a matter of time before you see a 10 second truck, we get about 15-17 mpg which isnt bad for it, i towed my buick w/ it and it towed it better then the 06 f-150 my in-laws have, only real gripe is there 7 pin trailer harness, the location of it sucks ass

That equates to $519.62 per month. :icon_eek:

Not necessarily. I was quoted a price similar to his when I inquired.

Remember it's several thousand more to get the four wheel drive version with every option. The one I priced out had leather, sun roof, upgraded sound system, etc.

i realize, mine sticked @ 34, w/ 1k out of pocket im @ 247, its aprox 15 a month per 1k on a 27/27k lease so if it was 10k more it would balance out, but then he payed another 2500 out of pocket

No offense taken.

Part of it was how the numbers worked out. I walked away with $8,700 check from a trade in which was only worth about 6k at most. Capitalized cost for the vehicle was $38,9xx for the lease ... then I got the GMID ($500) and I think a nominal $1,000 rebate. The $3,500 down came from an "old style" GM card.

There were better deals to be had in June & September ($3,000?? and $5,000 rebates respectively) this year but I didn't buy at the right time.
