mustang is at work in my parking garadge , she wont fire , i narowed it down to fuel ( i can hear the pump kick on real strong but theres no pressure coming out of the rail ) , now my battery is dead , if its not fixed asap it will be towed tomorrow morning , any ideas ? ,., cant tow or push it out of the lot because im 6 levels up and that just doesnt sound safe
 
im going up there early tomorrow morning before work and mess with it ( i just hope its still there ) , i had my wife come pick me up and we had to play some james bond shit to get her up there so i could try to jump my car ( then i realized she forgot the jumper cables ) so ...... ill know more tomorrow
 
Have you thought maybe your injectors? My brothers sn95 ran like dog shit when he bought it would stall alot over heat ect

im deffinatly leaning twards it being fuel related , i dont think its my pump thow ( i guess it still could be but it turns on way to strong ) i think its the FPR , once i replace the motor thow new fuel injectors will be going in ,., this cars always been hit or miss , it seems like 1 day she runs great ( seems like the hotter it is the better she runs ) then the next its just a turd that struggles to stay alive

just got back from messing with it , had to push it up hill about 20 ft just to be able to get it in a spot ware i could jump it and it still wouldnt start , beat the fuck out of the FPR and then tried it and she fired right up , got it home now ware i can atleast work on it without freaking out if its going to get towed or not ,.., how much for the FPR ?
 
You can take it it's been sitting around for quite a while it worked when we pulled it out of the car do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

im replacing the fuel pump , FRP and the injectors before the new motor goes in .......... would the FPR be the cause of my car stalling randomly ?
 
yea that and the pump going bad. If you can hear the fuel pump making noise its probably on its way out the stock ones are not very loud.

when my fuel pump went bad on my mustang it would whine really loud then it started to stall randomly not start for awhile and then it would fire up randomly and run fine.

I have a stock pump that you can have for a 12 pack of cold bud lights! PM me and let me know. Name is Jeff.
 
I'm going to throw this out there as another possibility.

Check the plug / wiring going into the distributor, the big connector. I know they will have the same result as what you described if the connector is not plugged in all the way. Make sure the connector is clean and snapped in, also look at the wires to make sure there is no damage.'
