Tire Sizing for a mustang

Hi guys

I got an 07 GT with the stock "torque thrust" style 17in wheels. I got a blowout on the stockers so its DR time :nayner:

what size can i stuff in there ? Im sure a 255 will fit but can these cars take a 275?

MT 295/45 17 should fit. It's a lot of tire but at 27.2 tall it's closer to stock. Or go a M&H 275/50 17 which is much narrower (run skinny) but taller at 28". I just put some 275 18 M&H on my Shelby and they are sticky to he max!
