Tire noise???

Have 31x10.5x15 on my Cherokee. They have aggressive treads on them. The front driver side tire has been making a smacking noise. It's not a metallic noise. Sounds like a horse running. Smack smack sound. Doesn't shake when I'm driving it. No driveability problems. Checked the tire for a screw or rock stuck in the tread. ???
 
How aggressive my old bronco had 35 tsl supper swampers under it and the noise atlow speed was a tuning sound and high speeds was just a loud ass grawl aggressive tire=road noise
 
It's a noise that just started happening. These have been on the Jeep for 3 years. All terrain Dick Cepak
 
Ever rotated them?? If not you probly have cupping. Cepeks are bad for it if you don't keep them rotated and even then it still happens.
 
Check u joints even if they have been replaces with tires that big they can fail easily we used to build weekend warrior jeeps to offroad and play with and the ujoints would go bad jackk it up and put a pry bar in the top and bottom of the ujoint also a great way to check the ball joints while your at it
