Throwout bearing help

I switched the original old school zbar clutch linkage to a hydraulic set up. I have the slave cylinder type with a centerforce clutch and a tko500 trans. Question is when i hooked up the slave my throwout bearing is in constant contact with the pressure plate. It has very little to no pressure when the clutch pedal is out and the clutch seems to be catching. If i adjust the clutch all the way out where the bearing doesnt touch the pressure plate the clutch arm doesnt have enough travel to disengage the clutch. I have read mixed reviews but most people say there should be some preload and the throw out bearing should be in constant contact with the pressure plate just with very light pressure. Just wondering what guys on here have encountered.

Thx for looking

Not sure on these but on t56 gm's they want the slave shimmed for around 1/8 clearance.
As the disk wears the fingers move out reducing the clearance

That what happens when you put new shit in an old car! Thinking about putting it on a turn table in the barn. That way i can just sit there drink beer and watch it spin in a circle.

LOL, but then after too many beers and the room starts spinning along with the car it'll seem like it's standing still again!
