I was going through some old photos and videos today and came across a few that were pretty cool when looking back. Unfortunately, they were taken at night or at night and in the rain and cameras back then were not what they were today.


I'm still looking for the photos I posted here in early - mid 2002 of a "M" plate 2003 Cobra that I mentioned I had seen and raced on the street. No one believed me until I came across it the next day and got photos of it.


I met the guy with the 2000 Cobra R in 2001. He and his brother both had 2000 R's. This video was August 2001 and the car already had 4,8XX miles. They both beat the life out of them and always street raced them. One time, the police came and everyone scattered. We hit the curb and the front splitter shattered.





For some reason the photobucket videos look worse than the saved ones. On the in-car video, I can clearly read the speedo.

I really like that Lincoln. Any idea what's up with the one across ddc in the m lot? Has bbs wheels and a big wing, cage etc.

That was probably the one that ran One Lap of America a few years back. Had a 4.6 in it as well. The story is that it blew during the event, so Ford authorized them to buy a Crown Vic and swap the motor overnight.

the one lap car was a sohc. My coworkers matt, jamie and chet drove it. Lol their boss told them to split the cost of the vic on their coporate cards to buy it

I may be one of the first that wanted to put an ls in an ls lol. We had a track car around 2002 with a roll bar and big brakes that someone forgot to check the oil on and it sucked the pan dry playing on a constant radius. It was a salable car so I kept trying to buy it. After about a year I put a new engine in it so it could be used again.
