Am I the only one worried about the fact that we're using a VIRUS to cure cancer? Might not work out the way we want it to! Nothing like breeding a new supervirus that we can't beat.

I'm pretty sure thats why they are still working on it. They need to genetically modify it enough that it wont evolve into anything else. I think these people really know what they are doing and I'm sure they asked the same question as you did. but it is a valid point.

I don't know the full history of aids, but if I remember correctly, it was bred the same way this virus is being bred.
