Jalopnik posted a pic of the old Mclaren versus the new, I can't find it. That was cool. Pretty much the same as the GT. You think the new ones are sleek(and they are based on modern standards) until you match them up with the classics.

I've got a friend with an original GT40 he vintage races and the GT just dwarfs it. And the GT gets dwarfed by a Mustang. I'll tell you this much, those dudes driving those aero nightmares one handed putting their belts on down the Mulsanne at 220 mph had balls of steel.

Back to the OP...... The original GT40 is looowwww. Take a tape measure from the floor up 40 inches and see where that is on your body. Now imagine feeling under that to drive! Crazy!

If I remember the Ford GT is taller but just a bit at 44" and change. Low.
