Thinking about doing something kind of old school

What do you guys think? I've got the fender well area that has the ducting from when it was a 4cyl to get cool fresh air from the fender area... I'm thinking about getting an old school single snorkel air cleaner that will hold a 13" filter and using the base from it + the snorkel.

Then use a 13" Filter w/ a 13" lid (Probably one of those K&N XStream styles)... Kind of old school in that it will get cooler air from outside but still have the open breathing while at a stand still....

Comments? Suggestions? Does anyone know what I mean?

I made some good coin off it. I want a single snorkel. Theres no duct work in the drivers side fender because it was a 4cyl car anyways, and I like the washer fluid over there! :icon_mrgr
