My dog would sleep at the foot of my bed. If anyone came into my room before I was up he would go crazy. Barking and growling. Mind you this was a Lab. If I was awake he would jump off the bed and lick anyone that came in.

This the same dog that would let little kids. Pull his tail,ears and poke him in the eyes. He would just lick them and walk away if they got too rough.

Dogs are funny. When they find a human they like it's a life long bond.

My dog also sleeps on my bed. She alternates throughout he night who's bed she sleeps in. Mine and my wife's or our daughter's. :lol: I hate that she sleeps in our bed. I kick her off with my foot, and my wife calls her back up on to her side. Drives me fucking nuts! If the dog is in bed before me, she doesn't get up before I take a shower. Once I am out of the shower and I open the bathroom door, she get's off of the bed. Like she's protecting my wife till I get there.

On the subject of dogs...If my dog knows im in the house alone he will Sit right at my door all night till someone comes home. and the same with my mom. If its just her in the house he will sit at her door and not sleep till someone gets home
