The wifes 67 coupe

We picked this up last August. It's a 6 cyl/ Auto. It's from AZ so it's SUPER solid. The cowl is MINT! The car only has light surface rust here and there. The paint and interior are typical for a southwest car. We've already replaced the vinyl top (it's now black), the headliner and the windshield. This is her baby. She's watched me have my car fun since we were dating so now it's her turn to have something to enjoy. Here's a few pic's.

Stripping the dash for a re-do and some new trim pieces plus a dash pad. Anybody need a factory original dash for a 67? This thing literally fell apart when I pulled it out.

any other plans for the car? just restore it or are you upgrading things here and there? try CJ pony parts or National Parts Depot (in canton MI) they are about even as far as prices and quality. I use both to shop around. CJ is a bit easier to navigate the site tho.

Been hitting NPD like crazy. It's getting painted eventually but for now it's just a cruiser.

Nice Mitch real nice. Mitch where did you get this car from ? I had a buddy that had one year's ago same grenn everthing. Just woundering if it's his old car. But nice car Mitch.

Nice ride mitch. 67/68 are my favorite years. I always wanted one with a 390 four speed. My wife is jealous she has been trying to get me to ditch these fox body ponies for one like that.

The car is a a no option stripper. Kind of a mutt so to speak. My wife is going to choose some upgrades to make it more enjoyable for her to drive. Something she can pile her girlfriends in and go cruising. Would like to get it painted soon but dunno if thats gonna happen. She wants to get the interior fixed up first so paint night have to wait until next year.

Irs About time you got some pics up ! This Is a Clean super solid car. I would find some Craiger S/S's or some Polished Aluminum 5 slots for It. Shiney wheels always look good on a mustang...........Nice find !
