Agreed. Also, movies like Bullitt with great car chases make you appreciate the old school stuff.

If you look at modern movie directors, Nolan is probably one of the biggest "purists" out there. He tries to use as LITTLE CGI as he can. Helps promote the realism of his movies.

I recently read an article that said they went through over 300 Chargers for the General Lee, but they only had one Caddy for Boss Hogg. If that one got wrinkled, they had to fix it. A few big block General Lees, but no Hemis.
