OH HOW I LUST for ONE!

I would put one in the rails of a 32' ford and drive it every day... these engines are works of art... even the drawings by Leo Goossen are pure works of art....



An engine designed in 1915 for boat racing that DOMINATED Indy until 1987!!! 27 indy 500 wins... so robust that one was once accidentally left running wide open with full bost for over an hour making 1400hp!!!




4 valves per cylinder..... twin cam NO HEAD GASKET!!!! easy 3hp per cubic inch naturally aspirated....

Definitely a bad ass motor. I believe the head and block cast as one piece.

One question: Where could a guy get copies of those drawings you mention?? One of those nicely framed would look great in my Man Cave!
