The Milan thread

I don't usually post on here I'm just a reader, but this just needs to brought to everyone attention. I hope I'm not reposting something that has already died on the vine. Here is a link to a thread over on Yellowbullet:

I don't understand why us racers keep going back there. I have not and will not go back to Milan until there is new ownership. Someone who cares to be in the racing business. I will take the extra hour and go to Martin instead. Milan will not reply to the thread. They have no problem promoting their events on there so we all know Chris has a computer. This thread needs to linked to all the car sites until Milan does something about their attitudes.

Thank you for all your concerns to everyone and anyone that took the time to help my family and crew at milan friday. Anckle is sprained some bruising and sore but no broken bones.Car is at a loss very heavy damage just trying to piece the accident back together but as for trying to win a championship it is over at milan dragway. As far as friends and family and my crew it was a shame the way the whole race went down from the starting line at over 15 seconds on the transbrake; water in my lane; and treating my brother disrespectful on the starting line and at the accident it was over and beyond bullshit. As far as the accident goes I did everything in my power not to hit the other driver and i hope he is ok but the other choice i had was to barrell roll his car. Instead i took the other lane and when he came back across is when i lost my car so i did make mistakes but to be treated in that manner by Pam the track owner and was told it was my fault for wrecking my car and my car not to safety specs is down right bullshit.I have fire safety equipement and teardown on that car before a race and if it wasnt safe i would have not walked away. The owner and staff was unproffesional to my wife family and friends and i will not be back. But Monday morning there will be a phone call to Milan staff and owners.
The wife has a few thanks to give also.
Thank you to all of the crew and our family who helped out friday night. Thanks to my sister who immediatly took care of our children with out me even asking, I love you. Thanks to Tom who took care of Jacob when he got sick after learning about the accident. Thanks to Danny the chassis guy who built a car my husband climbed out of safely. Thanks to the crew; Stan, Cyrus, Scott, Brian, and Brad who loaded the car up and brought all of the equipment home. Thanks to the neighbors who stayed up late and cleaned our camper. Thanks to the family Jim and Max and Dalton for being there, coming to the hospital and handling the situation when things got out of hand. And thanks to all of the drag radial class who helped out after we left. All of this was done without us even asking. It is very comforting to know the people in our lives care and support my husband so much.
Now as far as the Milan crew....who are you people?? I am perplexed over the treatment I and some of the crew recieved friday night. I wanted to go see my husband, was it necessary to try to shove me off the wall as I climbed over it. I guess this is a beware note to all of the spouses and family out there about this Pam lady. I've never met this lady before in my life, and as Pam was shoving me around I asked you to look at me and see that I was calm and rational and that I needed to go see him. At that point it started to rain, and Pam throws her hands in the air and says " now look what you fu**ing did, it's raining" Are you pshycho I can't make it rain. We all know we are in a high risk sport, but your behavior friday night was totally unprofessional and uncalled for. Once I finally did get around Pam she chased me down and called me a "hard a** fu**ing bitch. My husband just slammed into a wall going 150mph...who in there right mind would treat someone like that? I don't want your damned money I was concerned about Jay. Once I finally found my way to jay and as I was climbing into the ambulance, ms. baxter slammed the door on me. Are you people crazy....You nearly knocked me over on top of him. How dare you take that kind of risk? You two ladies have no business being on the track, YOU are a hinderance to every drivers safety.
These are the facts as they happened. Best of luck to all of the drivers, fans and friends who continue to race at milan.

Wow, sounds like a bunch of assholes over there.

There should be no reason for it to be locked... People have questions... Any business should answer questions the public has...

cliff notes?

This is all I saw regarding the actual accident:

it was a shame the way the whole race went down from the starting line at over 15 seconds on the transbrake; water in my lane; and treating my brother disrespectful on the starting line and at the accident it was over and beyond bullshit

I didn't know Milan was even a member here...doubtful that they would do anything but advertise.

It's no secret Milan has horrible management and people skills. The fact is no one will stop going there because nothing else is close.
