thanks Donnie

I have heard that this is an advance on your 2020 tax return and I have heard that you wont have to pay it back... I haven't done any real research on it yet. Does anyone know?

Yea, I think basically they are cutting your taxes for next year and giving it back to you in advance instead of waiting until you file in 2021.

Ya know, looking at that, I think they shorted me $500 for a child. We have had a kid since the 2019 taxes so IDK if that is how they are getting their "qualifying dependents" numbers....?

Go search irs.gov and see if you can update your info. By search I mean click the link on the homepage, it's right there.

Can’t find any info regarding people that may qualify for a check, but did not have a refund the last couple years. If you’re sending them a check, they’re not gonna have a direct deposit account from you.

They keep talking about sending it to your bank account from past refunds.

Yep, nothing is free..and overall, what is this $1000 really gonna do? as mentioned, buy car parts, probably made in China car parts...Or some basic BS, I don't think it is really going to do anything for the economy. But, I admit that I hate politics, and I don't know shit about the economy besides it is coming to a complete stop.
