Tensioner&Vortech?

My belt tensioner is getting week & the pulley bearing is going.What did you go with? factory or aftermarket? Its a 97 cobra 4.6 4v s/trim.
Thanks for Any suggestions or help.
 
Factory 3 bolt steel tensioner is going to be ur best bet. Good luck finding one tho. A ford dealer somewhere on the east coast has some I do belive. When I got mine it was 220 bucks.

Got a steel one from Dean Sellers 185.00.

Make sure u remove the cadium plated bolt and weld a big 3/4'' nut on there. You will twist off that bolt. Vorech has also updated the bracket and bearing off the alternator. One big single bearing instead of two small ones in ideler pully.
 
Ok so I got it all back on the car, but now my new belt is slipping wtf!!!

Anyone try that Richard racing pulluy or the Carbonite ultra grip pulley??
