If you're thinking of an AR/AK/SKS/lot o' pmags/AR lowers/ bulk ammo, I would do it now. Clinton v2.0 will push for another AWB and could succeed like her old man did in '94. If she even gets elected there will be a panic buy.

I know, I know, if she gets elected. This could all change but you could save yourself some money if you buy now.

FYI There were 2,145,865 NICS checks in April alone. Blew out the old monthly record by over 400,000 checks. Demand is trending upwards.

Keep military-style weapons off our streets. Military-style assault weapons do not belong on our streets. They are a danger to law enforcement and to our communities. Hillary will work to keep assault weapons off our streets and supports reinstating the assault weapons ban.

So I should buy cheap bushmasters now and sell them for 4x retail in 6 months.

That would be illegal with out an FFL. I'm not advising that. lol

I can't buy a firearm and then sell it? Or x amount?

Edit: read a little. The ATFs definition of firearms dealer seems a little gray and up to the courts determination. Selling for profit seems to be a big factor in determining legality. Soooo nvm. Lol

It is illegal to purchase a firearm with the intent to re-sell it (For a gain or a loss). However it is legal to purchase a firearm and change your mind as far as not wanting it and selling it shortly after buying it.

Build the collection.... get sick of the collection and sell it for the current market price. Doesnt seem too illegal when worded like that

Right. So hypothetically buying 6 ARs and selling them because you changed your mind isn't necessarily illegal. lol

Not so much. A judge or jury may decide that you bought that many guns for profit if you sold them shortly after or all at one if prices increase.

seems like bullshit, thats the entire basis of our econmony as long as you claim the profit on your taxes it should be 100% legal, IMHO

How many vehicles can you buy and sell in a year before you need a dealer's license?

5

"A dealer's license will be required if a person conducts the buying, selling, brokering, leasing, negotiating a lease, or dealing in 5 or more vehicles in a 12-month period. The law states that if you are in the business of buying, selling, brokering or otherwise dealing in vehicles, you need a dealer license. In the law, "vehicle" means: any vehicle required to be titled, motor vehicles, trailer coaches, and trailers weighing over 2500 lbs."

Unless you title jump it. Which is another nono.

Buy, clean it up, drive for a few weeks then flip it. Happens A LOT

but

you get 5
your wife gets 5
mom 5
dad 5

well you get the point,

also thats 5 in a 12 month period, not a calendar year, so it you sell 4 cars in December 2016 and 3 in Jan 2017 you break the law
